CM Kejriwal announces free vaccination for people above 18 years
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on April 26 announced free vaccination for people above 18 years. He informed that the Delhi government has placed an order of 1.34 crore vaccine jabs. "We are trying to make a plan to vaccinate people on large scale as early as possible. Today we have given the permission to purchase 1 crore and 34 lakh vaccines. We will make an effort to ensure that it is purchased soon and administered at the earliest to people. In this pandemic, vaccine is emerging as a solution. If everyone gets vaccinated then corona will be like an ordinary disease." Several other states including Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Goa, Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh have already announced free vaccines to people above 18-years.
